Windows 7 on Macbook Pro Unibody - Sound Driver Issue Resolved

Turns out that Apple did some strange things in the driver INF file that caused the speakers to be dampened and the headphones to be amplified, as well as forgetting to enable 1/3 speakers.

To resolve this issue, download the fixed drivers here

Thats one issue ticked off the list.

Wow, awesome. I've been searching high and low for a fix to this problem. Just got my unibody mac 15" a few days ago and Windows 7 is causing me all sorts of pain, especially the right-click in visual studio and other programs.

Do you have any problems with the microphone on your macbook with windows 7?

I had some minor issues in Live Messenger - getting the levels right. However with the right adjustments it now works perfectly and gives a nice, loud signal to the person on the other end. Exactly what issues are you experiencing? Ill try to help you out if i can

Sadly, the cirrus audio driver replacement doesn't work (for me) in the win7 x64 version edition.

As A side note, I haven't been able to get the Nvidia drivers working, maybe I didn't hack the .inf correctly? (seems similar to the bluetooth inf thing) (then again I can't seem to get A2DP working in winxpsp3 by any method)
